The Heart Behind The Practice
Hi, I’m Leah Tucker— a Licensed Massage Therapist, Bodyworker, and Magnawave practitioner specializing in humans, horses, and small animals.
I'm deeply fascinated by the biomechanics of the horse and rider and passionate about helping them become their best, pain-free selves. My journey into bodywork began in 2019, when I started studying equine and canine massage with the intention of becoming a vet. However, as I grew and found my calling, I realized that bodywork was my true passion.
What started as a side hustle quickly became a career when I saw the incredible results I was able to achieve. I developed a strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics, and soon, I could identify issues just by observing a horse's movement or through touch. It was clear I had found my purpose—helping animals and riders alike reach their full potential.
Along the way, I expanded my practice by becoming a Magnawave practitioner, which allowed me to offer my equine clients even more comprehensive care and have something to help my human clients. . The near-magical benefits of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy revolutionized my approach. I saw firsthand how Magnawave therapy could speed up recovery, reduce inflammation, and improve performance in a way that went beyond traditional bodywork. It was incredible to witness how this therapy supported horses and riders in both competition and recovery.
As I continued my studies, I began to realize that rider posture and habits were just as often the source of issues for horses as the horses themselves. This led me to pursue massage therapy for humans, despite my initial reservations about it. I was surprised to fall in love with it, and six months later, I enrolled in massage school.
Today, I’m dedicated to helping both horses and riders become their best. I truly believe massage is the most important & most effective form of bodywork.
